Toddler Room

Room Capacity: 15 Age Ratio: 1:5 Age: 15 mths to 2.5 yrs

Our Toddler room provides a tender, safe loving environment. Our staff work with parents towards minimizing separation anxiety and helping each child develop positive relationships with the teachers and other children.

The Toddlers have a separate play area outside. There are many toys, riding equipment and sensory activities for them for them to participate in while outside. In addition to this the teachers will take the children out for walks within the community in our daycare buggies.

Sensory center - sand and water play

7:00 - 8:00 am	Morning snack
8:00 - 8:30 am	Free Play
8:30 - 9:00 am	Structured activities (crafts, sensory play, manipulative toys)
9:15 - 9:30 am	Circle time (calendar, weather, songs, story time)
9:30 - 9:45 am	Diaper change, Get Ready for Outdoor Play
9:45 - 10:45 pm	Outdoor Play (weather permitting)
10:45 - 11:00 pm	Diaper change, Free Play
11:00 - 11:15 pm	Story time
11:15 - 11:45 pm	Lunch time
11:45 - 12:00 pm	Wash up, Settle into cots for sleep time
12:00 - 2:00 pm	Sleep time
2:00 - 2:15 pm	Wake up, Diaper change
2:15 - 2:30 pm	Snack time
2:30 - 2:45 pm	Wash up, Get Ready for Outdoor Play
2:45 - 3:45 pm	Outdoor Play (weather permitting)
