Before & After School

Room Capacity: 15 Age Ratio: 1:15 Age: 6 to 9 yrs

Our Before and After School program offers children a safe environment before and after school hours. Parents can rely on a safe method of transportation to local elementary schools. We also provide a Before only program.
Each child is given healthy snacks before and after school, help with homework, fun programming, outdoor activities and opportunities to make new friends.

This program is offered from September to June (the school year). Care is provided for the children during P.D. days and any other school breaks and holidays. For the months of July and August, our Summer Camp is an ideal way for children to continue social and academic development.

Daily Schedule - Before School Program

7:00 - 8:00 am	Snack time, Free Play
8:30 - 9:30 am	Free Play, transportation to school
9:00 - 9:30 am	Attendance, Circle time (calendar, story time, songs, etc.)
9:30 - 10:00 am	Free Play, individual activities based on daily theme
10:00 - 10:15 am	Bathroom/Clean up routine, prepare for snack
10:15 - 10:50 am	Snack time, exploring books in Reading Centre
10:50 - 11:30 am	Story time, group games, creative play, free play
11:30 - 12:00 pm	Outdoor Play (weather permitting)

Daily Schedule - After School Program

4:00 - 4:10 pm	Attendance
4:10 - 4:30 pm	Snack time
4:30 - 4:40 pm	Circle time ("Fact of the Day", short story, introduce daily activity)
4:40 - 5:10 pm	Free Play, Creative Play
5:10 - 5:15 pm	Clean up
5:15 - 6:00 pm	Children are transferred to Senior Room for pick up

Transportation to Schools

We provide transportation to local elementary schools. Our staff drive daycare vehicles for pick up and drop-off. These vehicles are equipped with both car seats and booster seats to ensure the safety of each child.
